Airborne Precautions
TB is a microorganism that is transmitted by airborne droplet nuclei (small-particle residue 5um or smaller of evaporated droplets) which can remain suspended in the air for a long period of time and can be dispersed widely by air currents within a room or over a long distance. To prevent the spread of TB, Airborne Precautions are required.
