Standard Precautions/Contact Precautions*

Cyclospora Infection requires Standard Precautions *but requires the use of Contact Precautions in diapered or incontinent patients including children under 6 years of age.

Cyclospora Infection is a Category 2 reportable disease. Report by mail within 12 hours of recognition or strong suspicion to both local and State Health Departments:
