Directions to the Air Rights Garage and Main Entrance of Yale-New Haven Hospital

The Air Rights Garage is located between North and South Frontage Roads and straddles York Street. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Entrances to the garage are located on North Frontage Road and South Frontage Road.

If you are traveling to New Haven on I-95 from the North or South:

On I-95 take Exit 47 onto Route 34 toward downtown New Haven. On Route 34 take Exit 3, which becomes North Frontage Road. Stay in left lane, garage entrance is ahead on left. Once parked, proceed to the elevators. Take the elevator to the second floor and follow the covered walkway to the main entrance of the Hospital.

If you are traveling to New Haven on I-91 South:

On I-91, take Exit 1 onto Route 34 toward downtown New Haven. On Route 34 take Exit 3 which becomes North Frontage Road. Stay in left lane, garage entrance is ahead on left. Once parked, proceed to the elevators. Take the elevator to the second floor and follow the covered walkway to the main entrance of the Hospital.

If you are traveling to New Haven on the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway from the direction of New York City:

On Parkway, take Exit 54 for connector to I-95. At the end of connector, take I-95 north toward New Haven. On I-95 take Exit 47 onto Route 34 toward downtown New Haven. On Route 34 take Exit 3 which becomes North Frontage Road. Stay in left lane, garage entrance is ahead on left side. Once parked, proceed to the elevators. Take the elevator to the second floor and follow the covered walkway to the main entrance of the Hospital.

If you are traveling to New Haven on the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway from the direction of Hartford:

On the Parkway, take Exit 57 to Route 34 East. Follow Route 34 East for 4.4 miles to E.T. Grasso Boulevard. Turn right at light on E.T. Grasso (Route 34 East and Route 10 South). On E.T. Grasso, turn left at second light onto Legion Avenue, which becomes South Frontage Road. After five lights turn left into Garage. Once parked, proceed to the elevators. Take the elevator to the second floor and follow the covered walkway to the main entrance of the Hospital.

If you are traveling to New Haven on Route 34 East from the direction of Waterbury:

Follow Route 34 East, cross Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway, and go 4.4 miles to E.T. Grasso Boulevard. Turn right at light on E.T. Grasso (Route 34 East and Route 10 South). On E.T. Grasso, turn left at second light onto Legion Avenue, which becomes South Frontage Road. After five lights turn left into Garage. Once parked, proceed to the elevators. Take the elevator to the second floor and follow the covered walkway to the main entrance of the Hospital.
