Shoreline Medical CenterYale Doctors Head East

With the opening of the Yale-New Haven Shoreline Medical Center in 2004, residents of coastal towns east of the Quinnipiac Bridge gained quick access to Yale physicians and the resources of a world-class medical center in nearby New Haven. Yale doctors provide state-of-the-art care in the Shoreline center’s Emergency Department, its Therapeutic Radiology practice and through its Anesthesiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory Medicine and Pathology services.

Now, with the opening of more than a half-dozen new Yale Medical Group practices in the medical and surgical specialties, Shoreline residents have more options for receiving the best health care close to home. Starting now and continuing through the winter and spring, Yale doctors will begin seeing patients at the Guilford location (111 Goose Lane, Guilford) in the following specialties:

  • Cardiology
  • Women’s Cardiac Care
  • Pediatric Cardiology
  • Hand Surgery
  • Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery*
  • Urology*
  • Cardiothoracic Surgery*
  • Breast Surgery*
  • Orthopaedics (at 157 Goose Lane)

* These practices will begin serving patients in the near future.
