Goals and Characteristics
The goal of the fellowship is to provide the participant with a
broad exposure to the prevention, as well as operative and nonoperative
management, of sports-related injuries. This experience is provided
through the interaction of the Fellow with the various athletic teams
at Yale University. In addition, the Fellow will be responsible for
providing medical coverage for an assigned high school football team.
Opportunities for sports-related clinical and basic science
research are provided.Completion of a research project is a necessary
requirement of the fellowship.
This fellowship is ACGME accredited.
This fellowship participates in the match program.
