As a child, Zufar Bikbov, M.D. graduated from Youth Art School with excellent marks and on his 14^th birthday was encouraged to continue his education in Moscow. Although his course of life eventually led him to become an oncologist, he never quit drawing and painting. He is currently participates in an exchange program between Yale School of Medicine and Kazan State Medical University in Russia and enjoys cityscapes, seascapes, still lifes, and floral work.
