Shepard Parsons, M.Div., is a Pastor and has been serving Center Church on the Green in New Haven for almost eleven years. As a self-taught painter who enjoys the outdoors, much of his work comes from the city and landscapes he loves. For Shepard painting and prayer go hand in hand as each focuses the mind and heart on something beyond oneself. His fascination with color and its effect on the eye and heart permeates his work. The thing he loves most to do is draw and color with his six year old daughter, Charis. Back to Exhibits Page
