Eiji Yanagisawa, M.D., Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology in the Department of Surgery, has a particular interest in
close-up nature photography. He was formally a member of the New Haven Camera Club and currently a member of the
Photographic Association of America and Bio-Communications Association. He has held exhibitions at the Hospital of St.
Raphael, Temple Surgical Center, Jewish Home for the Aged and Yale University School of Medicine. He is very interested
in medical photography and has had exhibited at national meetings including the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head
and Neck Surgery, the Biological Photographic Association and John Muir Medical Film Festival. He is the recipient of many
awards both for his nature photography and for his medical photography.
