Bruno Lucchesi is an Italian American who was born on a farm near Pisa, Italy. He is on the faculty of the Art Academy of Florence, the New York School of Social Research and the National Academy of Design in New York City. His methods of sculpture are published in three books: Terracotta (1977), Modeling the Head in Clay (1979), and Modeling the Figure in Clay (1980). Many of his sculptures are in private collections; some of these are photographed in a book: Bruno Lucchesi, Sculptor of the Human Spirit (1989). A number of his life size and larger sculptures are placed in museums and sculpture parks throughout the world.

Daphne Murray has been painting since 1978. She has shown her work in the Country Art Gallery in Locust Valley, Long Island, New York, Bridge Gallery St. George’s Bermuda, Bermuda Art Society, Hamilton, Bermuda, Cavalier Gallery in Greenwich, Connecticut and the New Haven Lawn.

Dr. Ghassan Abou-Alfa

Dr. Ghassan Abou-Alfa is a medical oncologist. Formerly a member of the Yale Medical Group, Dr. Abou-Alfa is currently practicing at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Photography has been his passion for more than twenty years. He has traveled throughout the world capturing natural marvels and fascinating structures with his camera. His main interest remains people and their surroundings.

A Portion of the proceeds from the sale of works by Joy Sherman will be donated to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation at the Yale Cancer Center and by Ghassan Abou-Alfa to cancer research at the Yale Cancer Center.
