What are the differences among illnesses?
There are many different kinds of illnesses.
Different illnesses have different causes, different treatments, different
symptoms, and different outcomes. Most illnesses that children get are not
serious and get better on their own or with simple treatment. This webpage
is about cancer -- cancer is an illness that can be serious, but it can
not be passed from one person to another. It's important to remember the
differences between different illnesses. Here are some examples from the
1/2 class about the differences among illnesses.

not contagious."
