DATA RETURN AND DATA REMOVAL VIA THE FTP-SERVER

PLEASE NOTE THAT SEQUENCING DATA PLACED IN
RESEARCHERS' FOLDERS WILL NOT REMAIN THERE INDEFINITELY.

Data return via ftp-server

Our method of data return is via a Yale ftp-server. Data is downloaded to password protected accounts. Sequence files in text form and ABI analysis files (specify either Binary (Mac) or Raw data (PC/VAX) on the submission sheet) remain on the server for a brief period only.

We will remove files at approximately 6-8 week intervals, without notice. It is therefore critical that you back-up data from the server as soon as it arrives, so that you will not lose valuable data when it is deleted from the server.
