1 This fee covers expansion of the clone to 3 X 10cm plates with neoR feeders. Investigators will be additionally charged the cost of the amount of G418 used in their experiments which will vary amongst clones.

2 ES cells will be injected into C57Bl6 blastocysts unless otherwise noted.  The cost listed includes superovulation of mice, detection of copulation plugs, blastocyst isolation and microinjection of ES cells. A separate charge for embryo transfer and pseudopregnant females exists.  Investigators may choose to microinject blastocysts from an alternate mouse strain provided that they assume responsibility for bringing 3.5 day gestation pregnant females to our facility. A reduction in fees to reflect the assumed animal and labor costs in the latter case is listed.

3 Includes the cryopreservation of at least 150 embryos in 6 straws, above and beyond those used to verify viability.

4 Includes the cropreservation of at least 250 embryos in 10 straws, above and beyond those used to verify viability.
