Radiobiology

This course is also offered annually to all radiotherapy residents. 

The course reviews the concepts relating to the effects of radiation on normal tissues and effects on malignant cells.  The course also includes significant detail regarding cell cycle effects, cell signal induction, and molecular aspects germane to radiotherapy and its effects on tissue.  The course is designed to have appropriate content with regard to preparation for the American Board of Radiology examination.
