Begin by looking at the Abdominal aorta, vertebral column and pelvic girdle

Add on the Inferior mesenteric artery.

Use a rollover to identify the left colic and superior rectal branches.

Add on the descending colon, and then the sigmoid colon

Let's look for anastomoses with the SMA. Add on the SMA; now add the middle colic branch
