Postdoctoral Fellow Position
A postdoctoral fellowship is available in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health in the Yale School of Medicine. The position is funded by a research grant from the National Institutes of Health. The emphasis of this position is in cancer and genetic epidemiology with a focus in breast and brain cancer. The candidate will join ongoing projects in cancer epidemiology including a study of mammographic breast density in women with ductal carcinoma-in situ (DCIS), as well as projects in a number of brain tumors, including meningioma and glioma. Goals of the fellowship include 1) practical experience in the organization and management of a large-scale epidemiologic project, 2) collection and analysis of research data, and 3) production of research manuscripts/grant applications. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in epidemiology with strong quantitative skills or in biostatistics and be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
