Dr. Ma’s research focuses on statistical analysis of interval censored survival data and bioinformatics. He has developed M-estimation theories for likelihood based and rank based estimates for interval censored data under semiparametric models. In the past two years, Dr. Ma has been working on classification and survival analysis using microarray data. His current projects include rank estimation for interval censored data and survival analysis using microarray data when clustering structures are present. He is also interested in statistical analysis of HIV and cardiovascular disease data.
