Recommenders should know you well and be able to evaluate your academic or professional work, your abilities to undertake graduate study and your potential as a public health professional.
If you have been out of school for less than 3 years, you must provide at least one academic reference.

Receipt of supporting documentation by SOPHAS may be viewed on-line once you create a SOPHAS account. Previewing the status of your application regularly is important. Sending information directly to SOPHAS and utilizing the SOPHAS ETS code (5688) will expedite the processing.
The Admissions Committee at Yale School of Public Health will begin making admission decisions and offers of admission on February 1, 2007. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. All decisions regarding admission will be made by May 31, 2007.
