Education: B.A., 1981, Columbia University Research and Teaching Interests:The Community Services Network (CSN) of Greater New Haven (communityservicesnetwork.org) is a consortium of 16 community-based not-for-profit organizations providing a broad and integrated continuum of psychiatric rehabilitation and support services, including residential, vocational, psychosocial rehabilitation, clinical, case management, crisis, respite and family support programs to individuals with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders in the New Haven community. The Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC), a partnership between the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and the Department of Psychiatry serves as the lead and supervising agency for the CSN. My interests are in research, best practices, evaluation, consultation and teaching in the area of recovery-oriented services and the development of behavioral healthcare systems for individuals with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders and other at-risk populations.
