Research Interest

Studies in Schizophrenia include phenomenology of psychotic symptoms, diagnosis, schizophrenic pathophysiology (artificial intelligence, computer modeling of symptoms), treatment (cognitive restructuring, controlled medication clinical trials), and the early detection and possible prevention of psychosis onset in persons prodromal to psychosis. In Personality Disorders I head a five year follow-along of subjects with Schizotypal, Borderline, Avoidant and/or Compulsive Personality Disorders involving careful symptomatic, diagnostic, and functional assessments.
