APT Foundation

The APT Foundation, founded in 1970, is a private, non-profit organization providing treatment to individuals with substance use problems with an emphasis on traditionally underserved populations. Headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, The APT Foundation offers treatment programs for adults that address the full range of substance abuse including opiates, cocaine, alcohol and multiple addictions.

APT Vocational Services (AVS)

APT Vocational services provides specialized vocational rehabilitation to individuals with substance abuse and/or mental health issues. APT case managers provide individualized services for each client. As well as assisting with job placement, APT case managers will help improve any barriers to sucessful employment, such as homelessness, lack of transportation, childcare, healthcare, and appropriate clothing. The only requirement for services is that the client is enrolled in a program of recovery, which can include 12-Step programs. Clients who continue to use drugs or are not medication compliant for their mental health issues are put on hold for 30 days. Clients who continually relapse are placed in a more intensive treatment.
