Women and Mood Disorders Menopause Mood and Memory Studies:
- Assessment of cognition for women ages 45-65 who are concerned about their memory, focus and concentration. Treatment with an FDA approved medication through a clinical trial is available. (HIC # 26522)
- Healthy menopausal women may participate in research study focusing on the role of estrogen and progesterone in modulating brain chemicals, mood and cognition using neuroimaging techniques. (HIC # 26567)

Pregnancy:
- The Yale Pink and Blue Study is looking for women (who are less than 4 months pregnant) who are stressed and women who do not identify any difficulties in their lives, or do not feel stressed, or women who feel slightly stressed at times. This study does not require medical procedures, tests or medication of any kind. (HIC # 23954)

Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder:

- In addition to exploring exploring prescription medications that have already been FDA approved for PMS/PMDD treatment called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI), our Program is also examining the effectiveness of birth control pills (HIC # 0508000445), calcium (HIC # 001011511) and numerous other non-medication based options (HIC # 0108012595).
