Ms. Alexandria Garino joined the PA program as an Assistant Professor in May 2006 and will oversee the program’s Didactic Curriculum, as well as teach, and conduct research. Ms. Garino previously worked at Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital’s Physician Assistant Program where she served as Acting Associate Director and Clinical Professor since 2004 . While employed at Pace, Ms. Garino also served as a PA on the Hospitalist team at Good Samaratin Hospital in New York. Prior to her tenure at Pace University, she worked as a Physician Assistant in the Outpatient Oncology service at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center’s Comprehensive Cancer Center in Bronx, NY, and served as Adjunct faculty for the St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center Physician Assistant Program. Ms. Garino holds an MS in Biostatistics: Clinical Research Methods Track from Columbia University, a PA certification from St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center PA Program, and a BA in Literature from St. John’s University in New York. Ms. Garino was recently awarded grant funding for her proposal at the 2006 PAEA Annual Education Forum in Quebec City. She will study methods to improve spatial relationships of PA students in anatomy.
