David M. Brissette, MMSc., PA-C joined the Yale
Physician Associate Program in September 2005 as
Assistant Professor and oversees the Clinical Curriculum.
David graduated from Tulane University in 1992 with
a Bachelors degree in Biology and from the Emory
University PA Program in 1994. Since graduation,
David has practiced in the New Haven area in both
the outpatient and inpatient internal medicine settings,
most recently on the Hospitalist Service at Yale
New Haven Hospital since 1999 where he continues
to practice one day per week. David has mentored
Yale PA Students since 1995 and has been involved
with the Clinical Practicum course and the Admissions
Committee since 2001. David lives in the New Haven
area with his wife and daughter.
David was recently awarded grant funding for his proposal at the 2006 PAEA Annual Education Forum in Quebec City. He will study the Yale-New Haven Hospital experience with PAs on the Hospitalist Team.
