Post-doctoral Positions Currently Available

Post-doctoral positions are currently available for a self-motivated individual to study the role of protein tyrosine phosphatases in mammalian signal transduction.

A range of exciting and cutting-edge projects are available investigating the role of protein tyrosine phosphatases in skeletal muscle development, insulin signaling and metabolism, hepatocellular signaling, as well as fundamental molecular mechanisms of tyrosine phosphatase action downstream of receptor tyrosine kinases. A strong disease oriented emphasis is placed on many of these areas of study. A wide range of approaches from molecular biology to mouse genetic strategies are employed to tackle these problems.

Interested candidates should send their applications along with three letters of recommendation to Anton M. Bennett, Ph.D., Department of Pharmacology SHM B226D, 333 Cedar Street, New Haven CT 06520. E-mail: anton.bennett@yale.edu.
