The Yale Pediatric Thyroid Center

Research

Expanding our knowledge of the treatment and causes of pediatric thyroid disease is a major goal of the Yale Pediatrics Thyroid Center. Important contributions of our members include the identification of genes that cause thyroid cancer, optimization of treatment of childhood Graves’ disease, and the development of new diagnostic approaches for thyroid disease and thyroid cancer.
