Clinical Interests: Lyme disease in children; Varicella Zoster virus infections (chickenpox and shingles); congenital CMV infection; pediatric HIV/AIDS; Pneumococcal infections in children.

Research Interests: Evaluating effectiveness of pediatric vaccines--varicella vaccine, Lyme vaccine, Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine, Influenza vaccine and rotavirus vaccines; Assessing the longterm outcomes of children infected with Lyme disease; describing the clinical epidemiology of newly diagnosed-respiratory infections in children.
