Clinical Interests: Newborn shock and respiratory failure; newborn infectious disease, particularly hospital-acquired infections; newborn blood disorders; vascular and lymphatic malformations

Research Interests: Inherited disorders of the erythrocyte including abnormalities of the erythrocyte membrane, hemoglobin, and red cell enzymes, as well as abnormalities leading to erythrocytosis (primary polycythemia). Genetics of inherited syndromes manifesting in the perinatal period.
