Yale Podiatry Service
The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation created the Yale Podiatry Service in 1998. Medically and surgically trained podiatrists are available to care for children and adult patients in the Yale Sports Medicine Center, the Yale-New Haven Hospital Primary Care Center, and in conjunction with the Yale Vascular Center for circulation-related problems, including diabetes.
Among special services offered by this Section are treatment of the following:
- Diabetic Foot Center
- Fractures and foot trauma
- Foot surgery
- General foot care for adults and children
- Orthotics and biomechanics
