The Crude Death Rate for pneumonia deaths decreased slightly from 1992. in 1992 there were 58 deaths caused by pneumonia and the death rate was 44.5/100,000. In 1993 the percent of the total decreased slightly from 4.5% in 1992 to 4.2%. December and January recorded the highest average number of deaths due to pneumonia in the 1989-1993 period, with 6.0 average deaths for the five year period. In 1992 and 1993 March reported the highest number of' deaths due to pneumonia.
