The total number of deaths caused by cerebrovascular disease decreased slightly from 1992 to 1993. In 1992 there was a total of 66 deaths and a death rate of 50.6/100,000. This total increased slightly in 1993 to 74 deaths with a crude rate of 56.7/100,000. The death rate for nonwhite residents increased significantly from 13.3/100,000 in 1992 to 23.2/100,000 in 1993. The Crude death rate for white residents was 85.3/100.000.
