It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Neurology at Yale University School of Medicine. Our Department is dedicated to patient care, education and research. It houses outstanding faculty, dedicated staff and excellent resident staff, all working together within state-of-the-art facilities at one of the world's great universities. Activities of the Department have three major goals:

bullet. To deliver excellence in patient care and education for a variety of neurological disorders through state-of-the-art clinical programs.
bullet. To provide training to medical students, residents and fellows in the areas of clinical and basic neuroscience, through internationally acclaimed training programs.
bullet. To study the nervous system from molecular to systems level, and to translate laboratory findings to treatments for human neurological disorders.

The faculty at Yale Neurology includes many of the world's best clinicians and researchers in the field of neuroscience. We are committed to clinical care of the highest quality. To fulfill this mission statement, we are equally dedicated to the discovery of nervous system disease etiology and to the development of new and more effective therapies.
