Research Interests ^

Although I am a physicist by training, my research is in the area of computational neuroscience. This means that I am interested in investigating questions related to brain functions using computer simulations and some analytical tools. Specifically, there are many studies in which neuroscientists have revealed neural correlates of simple decision-making processes. My goal is to make progress in our understanding of these observations by investigating plausible neuronal mechanisms that underlie the generation of such neural activities as well as the required computations.
