Franziska reports on her rotation project. Jaws drop to
the floor and gasps are heard as the other students realize
that not only does she have data, but she has a lot of
it. The rest of the Baserga lab, in the back row, sits
back, crosses their arms, and grin, proudly. |

Latest issue published with no notice of the "Top
10 lines to tell a first year" contest to lab members.

The computer monitor for the
spectrophotometer has been out of commission for days.
To remedy this, Jen and Sander take a field trip to the
Salvation Army. They return with pockets $8 lighter, but
carrying an almost-brand-spanking-new Dell 15" color
monitor. Overjoyed at their frugality, Susan reimbursses
them the $8. |

Jen and Erica reveal their latest
ground-breaking discoveries at the Genetics Department
retreat at Jiminy Peak, MA. They also overtake classmates
on the alpine slide. Sander suddenly takes ill, but recovers
shortly after the retreat. He denies social ineptitude. |

Susan represents the lab at
the MB&B retreat at Woods Hole, MA by singing back-up
karaoke for Tony Koleske and Scott Strobel in their rendition
of "High Hopes" for the students. Susan later
thanks her lucky stars that her lab wasn't there to gain
incriminating photographs or sound clips. |

destined for colder climates. His explanation: "I
just really like skiing better." |

Sander receives notice of MB&B
retreat. Two days later, he goes on holiday. He is not
seen or heard from again until after the retreat. |

Erica and collaborator Lisa
bombard the genetics retreat logo contest with entries.
After extending the deadline twice, contest officials
accept the "Yeast, flies, and worms. Oh my!"
entry. Susan still doesn't get a T-shirt. |

over which project to stick her with. |

Susan brings home the most adorable
lab member, a new puppy! Productivity ceases while lab
members cuddle the furry ball of chewing. No work is completed
for a week. Since the dog arrived, Madhu complains about
not getting enough attention. |

Basketball team's 4th straight win guarantees their
victory in the MB&B C Wing Summer League. Story.
Inspired by their brilliance, Erica and other lab members
dominate the B Magazine Movie Title contest.
