Printing in the Medical Library from your Laptop

It is possible to print to the Medical Library's printers from your laptop computer. You must be connected to the Yale network through either a wireless card or one of the wired jacks within the Library. For general information on networking your laptop in the Medical Library, see the page Using your Laptop in the Library and Medical Center.

The same Copico card used for photocopying or for printing from Library computers is used to retrieve print jobs sent from your laptop. Pay for the copies at any paystation. The regular laser printer is 7 cents per page. and the color printer is 50 cents per page.
The initial setup should take you less than five minutes for Mac users and a bit longer for Windows users. After the initial setup, establishing your connection to our printing system will take mere seconds. Select the instructions appropriate for your computer:

Contact Mark Gentry (mark.gentry@yale.edu, x52163) or Jason Reinstedler (jason.reinstedler@yale.edu, 785-5770) for assistance or comments on the service.
