This equipment is available for loan by Library patrons from the Circulation Desk. All Yale library users are eligible to borrow this equipment.

Cameras & Related Equipment

            

• Digital Cameras:
  2 - Canon Powershot SD1200 10 Megapixel digital camera with 4GB SD Card. Includes USB/video output cables and battery charger. Reservation recommended. Three-day loan period.
• Digital Video Camcorder:
  1 - Canon Vixia HF200 HD Camcorder with 16GB SDHC card. Includes output cables and battery charger. Reservation recommended. Three-day loan period.
• 1 - Camera/Camcorder tripod with carrying bag. Reservations recommended. Three-day loan period.

Laptops

• Medical Center Student Laptops (limited to Medical Center students)

Audiovisual Equipment

Note that all conference and group study rooms in the Medical Library have either data projectors or monitors. For details, see our Study Rooms page.

Audiovisual equipment for classroom or seminar use is available, at no charge, to those who possess a valid Yale University ID or YNHH Medical Center Library Card. Equipment is checked-out on a first come, first served basis and may be borrowed for a maximum loan period of 8 hours, and is available 7 days a week.

• Slide Projector - Kodak Carousel projector with a spare bulb, remote switch, remote extension cord, and electrical extension cord.
• DVD/VCR Monitor - One is available for patron use within the Library.

The equipment is obtained from the Medical Library Circulation Desk. No technical assistance is provided. Patrons should familiarize themselves with the equipment before using it. The slide projector has a diagram outlining the steps to change a bulb and also includes a parts check list fastened to the inside of the carrying case. Please report any problems to staff upon returning the equipment.
