John F. Fulton acquired for his collection, which he gave to the Historical Library, a nearly full run of this early periodical. Founded by Otto Mencke in 1682 in Liepzig, and continued by his son, Johann Burkhard Mencke through 1731, it contained a section on medicine and physiology as well as sections on other arts and sciences.
