You can access Blackboard from the Medical Library’s homepage. It is located under Major Resources. The direct URL for Blackboard is: http://courseinfo.med.yale.edu/
Medical students are required to log in to Blackboard using their Student Codes. This ensures anonymity consistent with the Yale System. If you have a question regarding your Student Code, please contact Terri Tolson in the Office of Student Affairs. Medical students should log in as follows:

In the "My Courses" panel, you may find listings of your Blackboard courses. To enroll in the rest of your Blackboard sites, click on the Courses tab and navigate to classes available in your program of study.
For Medical Students, click on the link to Medicine, then Undergraduate Education, then Preclinical Years and lastly, First Year.
For Physician Associate Students, click on the link to Physician Associate and then 1st Year PA.
Here is a description and example of navigation buttons you may see in your courses.. Navigation in each course varies depending on the content areas the instructor chooses to enable.
Blackboard has excellent online documentation. To view manuals, you may click on the links below. Instructors and support staff can also find an online manual that is accessible from the Control Panel of their course. Students can find an online manual under the Tools button in their courses. For your convenience, here are the manuals:
