Association of Research Libraries Statistics

The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) conducts an annual survey of
its member institutions. The SQI Assessment Group has undertaken a review
of the ARL statistics gathered in instruction, reference, circulation
and interlibrary loan. After reviewing practices at Yale University Library,
the Assessment Group devised a sampling methodology for gathering data about
reference questions.
