Pilot Project Grant Program
The primary goals of the Pilot Project Grant Program are:
- To attract young investigators on the junior faculty to the field of molecular hematology by providing start of funds to establish their independent research funding. This will include investigators with no current or past NIH funding, or those making the transition from NIH training type awards (K awards) to independent R01 funding.
- To support established members of the Center for Molecular Hematology to exploit the resources of the Center to test new ideas or develop new techniques in their laboratories.
- To support established investigators at the institution with no previous research related to the Center who wish to initiate new research projects in molecular hematology that relate to the focus of the Center.
Program Organization
Program Director: Dr. Joseph Madri, Ph.D., M.D.
Program Committee
The Program Committee will assist the Program Director in the management of the program and will consist of the Internal Executive Committee. The Committee is representative of the range of goals and interests within the cores of the Center.
