Overview
The Gene Expression and Genomic Analysis Core brings the most advanced microarray and chromatin-based technologies within reach of the largest possible number of investigators. The Core builds on the foundation of the Affymetrix, DNA Microarray, and Biostatistics Resources of the Keck Foundation Biotechnology Resource Laboratory at Yale University.
This Core facilitates access to state-of-the art technologies to individual laboratories not primarily involved in these technologies, including reagents, and instrumentation for a genomic-level approach to problems in hematology.
Under the aegis of the joint University-Medical School Program in Proteomics and Genomics, this program provides:
- new types of microarrays that have been and are being constructed
- methods and analytic tools for using these and other arrays which are in continuous development, particularly in the field of genomic array
- evolving new methodology for the use of microarrays
