Please note that this online application does not replace the paper process. After completing the online application, you will be required to print out the whole application for submission. All the old guidelines for the submission of the paper application apply.
You are required to submit your online application by February 1, 2006. Your paper copies must also be postmarked latest February 1, 2006.
We are providing below instructions for assembling your fellowship application as well as the appropriate addresses to use.Please be sure to include the following in one package:
1. The Original Application The original application must be single-sided, with all three required signatures on the final page where indicated. Do not staple or otherwise bind the original application; paper clips are accepted. The pages should be assembled in the order specified in the instructions at the beginning of the application packet.
2. Four identical, single-sided copies of the original application. Do not staple or otherwise bind the four copies of the original application; paper clips are accepted. Please be sure to make all copies after all of the required signatures have been obtained on the final page.
3. DO NOT SEND COPIES OF PUBLICATIONS AND/OR MANUSCRIPTS Please list publications in Item 14 of the application.

5. Notification of Receipt of Application We will notify you of the receipt of your application packet within approximately two to four weeks after the February 1 deadline. As we are a small office, we do not have the same technical capacity as some other funding organizations and cannot mail anything to you sooner than that.
Please note the following: An application will be considered on time if it is received by the February 1st deadline. Proof of timely mailing consists of one of the following: a legibly dated U.S. Postal Service postmark or a dated receipt from a commercial carrier or U.S. Postal Service. If a receipt date should fall on a weekend, it will be extended to the following Monday. The deadline date will be waived only in extreme circumstances and will be decided upon as a case-by-case circumstance.
We prefer to receive your reference letters and forms under separate cover; however, if these letters are properly sealed with a confidential signature on the flap of the envelope of that referee, we will accept them with the application packet. The same applies to the post-doctoral sponsor's letter.
