Research Activities
This new section is under construction The research activities of our faculty cover a broad range of topics in nephrology from bench to bedside. Current research areas include studies of renal tubular electrolyte transport, renal epithelial cell biology and morphogenesis, molecular genetics of hypertension, polycystic kidney disease, transplant immunology, and complications of Chronic Kidney Disease, ESRD and dialysis. In addition to a large spectrum of research projects supported by individual NIH research grants, Yale is home to a Hypertension Research Center and a Polycystic Kidney Disease Research Center. |
