Training

B.S., 1992: Pacific Lutheran University

M.P.H, 1999: Yale University School of Epidemiology and Public Health

Ph.D., 2005: Yale University School of Epidemiology and Public Health

I am interested in maternal and child health issues, particularly in the areas of HIV/AIDS. I am particularly interested in the experience of stigma and discrimination among women and children living with HIV/AIDS in developing countries. I am also interested in developing innovative mechanisms in which to translate health services research into policy.
