Clinical Interests
Motility disorders including:
- achalasia
- gastroesophageal reflux disease
- gastroparesis
- small intestinal pseudoobstruction
- bacterial overgrowth
Research Interests
- Studying the role of small bowel dysmotility in causing bacterial overgrowth and translocation in patients with advanced liver disease.
- Defining the optimal treatment algorithm for patients with achalasia.
- Identifying clinical predictors for successful response to anti-reflux surgery in patient with non-acid reflux.
- Assessing utility of novel technology in diagnosis and management of motility disorders.
