Research Activities

Dr. McPhedran is Professor Emeritus of Laboratory Medicine. For many years, he was the Director of the Clinical Hematology Laboratory at Yale-New Haven Hospital and carried out epidemiologic studies and surveys of various hematologic disorders and diagnostic tests, in particular those related to hemostasis and thrombosis. He continues to be active clinically and sees patients with a variety of general hematologic disorders, including patients with disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis.
