Clinical Interests

Lung cancer, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease including sarcoidosis and idiopathic pulmoanary fibrosis, pulmonary manifestations of the collagen vascular diseases, bronchiectasis, pulmonary thromboembolism and pulmonary artery hypertension.

Research Interests

  1. Lung cancer -- epidemiology, etiology, imaging techniques for diagnosis and staging, and immunotherapy
  2. Heart lung interaction -- cor pulmonale and pulmonary thromboembolism
  3. Therapy for asthma and COPD
