Academic Activities

As a graduate of the Yale Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology, Dr. Jenq is responsible for overseeing the geriatric education for the Yale Internal Medicine housestaff. She is coordinating the educational experiences at the Yale New Haven Hospital Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Unit, and the Geriatrics Outpatient Elective. She is also a participant in the Integrated Model of Aging and Geriatric Education (IMAGE) project and is helping to develop and evaluate the Computer Assisted Simulation Encounters (CASES) for geriatric teaching. Lastly, she is one of two workshop leaders in the Geriatrics Workshop for the Primary Care Clerkship for 4th year medical students. She is active in teaching 1st and 2nd year medical students in the Doctor-Patient Encounter Courses at the Yale School of Medicine. Her interests lie in geriatric education and palliative/hospice care.
