Rosa Hendler

Clinical Interests

Dr. Hendler is a Research Scientist at Yale University. She has published extensively and is a recognized expert in metabolic disorders. Her practice is limited to the treatment of diabetes, lipid disorders, and obesity. Dr. Hendler's specific interests are in the use of new insulin analogues and delivery systems for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. She is the Course Director of the Yale Diabetes Day, an annual symposium dedicated to various aspects of clinical diabetes treatment. Dr. Hendler is also the Director of the Yale Clinical Research Center radioimmunoassay laboratory.

She sees patients on Wednesdays on Dana 3 (789 Howard Avenue). She works in conjunction with Geri Spollett MSN, an adult nurse practitioner and certified diabetes educator.
