Dr. Enelow, the section chief at VA-CT, maintains an NIH funded research program investigating the immunopathologic mechanisms of lung injury associated with respiratory virus infection (influenza and respiratory syncytial virus), and CD8+ T cell responses to infectious and non-infectious antigens in the lung. He was recently named a permanent member of the NIH Lung Cellular, Molecular, and Immunobiology study section, and has been an ad hoc member of the Experimental Virology study section, as well as numerous Special Emphasis Panels.
