Dr. Terry Taylor obtained her medical degree from Duke University Medical Center. She did her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center followed an Endocrine Fellowship at the Brigham & Women's Hospital and the National Institute of Health. She joined the Georgetown University Medical Center faculty where she rose through the ranks over 13 years. Among her responsibilities at Georgetown was directing the Endocrine Division, establishing and running the Diabetes Center, directing the Fellowship Program, and performing basic and clinical research. She is now director of the Metabolic Medical Affairs Department at Bayer Pharmaceutical Corporation. She is a part time clinical faculty member at Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Taylor's clinical interests include thyroid disorders, pituitary diseases, osteoporosis, and diabetes mellitus. She is board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, and metabolism.

Office hours are held every Friday on Dana 3 (789 Howard Avenue). Dr. Taylor works in conjunction with Geri Spollett MSN, an adult nurse practitioner and certified diabetes educator.
